MapA Half-Day Symposium Featuring Professor Meredith Minkler
We are delighted to announce that Professor Meredith Minkler (University of California, Berkeley) will be visiting Melbourne in February and will deliver the keynote address at a half-day symposium on Community Engaged Research.
Through all of the Melbourne Social Equity Institute's research programs there is a commitment to community led and community engaged research. In 2017 the Institute launched a Community of Practice focused on community engaged research, bringing together people from a range of backgrounds to explore ethics, methods and approaches.
This symposium will reflect on many of the common themes raised across the Community of Practice workshops and discuss successful models for community engaged research.
