ISPOR VIC-TAS Student Chapter recognised with prestigious ISPOR awards and welcomes new executive committee members
The Victorian and Tasmanian student chapter of the Professional Society of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) Student Network has been awarded with the “Outstanding New Student Chapter Award” and the “Best Student Chapter Collaboration Award” by the ISPOR Student Network. These awards recognise the dedication and commitment of the ISPOR Victoria and Tasmania Student Chapter to students from the Deakin University, Monash University, University of Melbourne and the University of Tasmania in their inaugural year.
In particular, these awards acknowledge the achievements of the student chapter in supporting students in their academic and professional developments through educational and social events such as the Virtual Student Symposium held in May 2021 in collaboration with the ISPOR Sydney Student and ECR Chapter and the joint webinar hosted in collaboration with West Virginia University held in February 2021.
Additionally, the Immediate Past President of the student chapter, Ingrid Cox (University of Tasmania) received the “Student Chapter Leadership Distinguished Service Award” for her outstanding involvement and contributions to the ISPOR Student Network. Ingrid Cox will also be serving as 2021-2022 Student Network Chair.
