The Research Support & Evaluation team provides support to academic and professional staff across the Faculty in the areas of: Research Strategy & Governance, Research Institute Partnerships, Research Information, Research Training and Research Collaboration & Funding. Working closely with the Associate Deans for Research and Research Training, the team provides advice and support to the Dean and Heads of Schools on the research strategy of the Faculty, with a focus on fostering excellence and impact in research. Staff in the Research Development team work closely with staff in Chancellery and University Services (Academic Services, Business Intelligence and Reporting, and Research, Innovation and Commercialisation) to provide integrated support for our researchers.

The MDHS Research Support & Evaluation team can provide initial guidance on University of Melbourne submission requirements and closing dates. The Grants team in Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (RIC) is responsible for coordinating the submission of applications to external funding bodies. Information on major funder submission requirements, including internal closing dates can be found on the RIC website.
