We will develop and validate new research methods and paradigms to advance the new field of digital population health and to create digitally-enabled health consumers, practitioners and researchers.
The CRE’s work program will optimise the use of new digital technologies and integrate them with current health care delivery to empower health consumers and communities to disrupt and significantly improve current approaches to chronic disease prevention and management
Optimising the reach and widespread use of digital technology by users, including health consumers and health practitioners in order to complement current traditional approaches to health care delivery which face considerable challenges currently, due to the lifelong disease burden of chronic diseases
Enhancing the integration and interoperability of data and platforms to increase the scalability of digital technology to underpin better decision and clinical support for health practitioners and program delivery to health consumers
Producing frameworks and guidelines that support and facilitate the uptake and adoption of safe and effective digital technology by Australia’s health practitioners and patients with chronic conditions and enable their integration into routine health care delivery
