Liana Rawlings

Program Officer

Liana has experience in the non-profit sector across a range of organisations and joined Nossal Institute in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of International Studies from RMIT University and is currently completing an internship at the Australian Institute of International Affairs.

Liana’s previous role as a program coordinator involved delivering youth-centred education surrounding sexual health and substance use through a national peer-to-peer outreach program. She also helped lead an annual international health campaign which seeks to create awareness of drug overdose, reduce barriers to health services and provide educational resources to over 40 countries.

Liana is passionate about the importance of equitable health care and holds a critical interest in the intersection between health and global legal frameworks. She is committed to improving access to health services and promoting evidence-based solutions to health issues internationally.
