Gianna Robbers

Gianna's research focuses on the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women undergoing cervical cancer screening in Indonesia. Her particular interest lies within qualitative, quantitative & intervention research and the promotion of sexual, reproductive and women’s health and rights of vulnerable populations.

She has previously been involved in various research projects addressing the advancement of women’s health and rights including a comprehensive situation assessment at the WHO Regional Office for Europe where she evaluated the EU’s response to the protection needs of female refugees and asylum seekers during the European migration crisis (2015-2016). Gianna has published research articles in Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters, BMC Reproductive Health and EntreNous, a sexual and reproductive health magazine of the WHO Regional Office for Europe.
