Dana Young

Research Fellow

Dana Young is a research fellow and PhD Candidate at the Nossal Institute of Global Health. Dana’s research uses mixed-methods to explore the social and environmental influences on child and family health and the impact of community-based interventions.

Dana holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Human Nutrition. Her PhD is exploring the role of local sports participation in building different forms of social capital for adolescent girls from a migrant background in Melbourne, Australia.
