Coordinator - Projects
Lorenza believes the fast pace societal and environmental changes pose challenges to the way we interact with each other, build relations and work. She has experience working and engaging with Australian-based diasporas who are developing projects on human rights, peacebuilding, development, and humanitarian aid overseas. Lorenza worked closely with communities providing capability and capacity building, advocacy, and networking support as well as mapping and assessing community needs and requirements.
Lorenza has planned, and managed multi-sector dialogues aiming to foster and share knowledge on diaspora humanitarianisms. She was actively involved in the mapping of the formal and informal remittance flow into South Sudan as part of an IOM South Sudan study and developed Diaspora Action Australia’s community informed submission to the Senate Inquiry into issues facing diaspora communities in Australia.
After completing her Master of International Urban and Environmental Management, Lorenza worked with PSA Project, a Melbourne-based project management company engaging in post-disaster and community project management and collaborated with ASF-UK in the Resilience by Design programme in Bungamati (Nepal).
