International Risk Communications Consultant

One Health recognises people's health is connected to the health of animals and the environment. This collaborative, multisectoral approach works at the local, regional, national, and global levels to achieve optimal health outcomes.

About the Role

We need a strategic focused consultant to support our international experts providing Greater Mekong Subregion countries capacity development and advisory support to prevent outbreaks of emerging infectious diseases.

It’s an opportunity to support advancing One Health agenda within GMS countries .

You will have the ability to:

  • develop, assess, and recommend ways to effectively communicate risks related to animal and human diseases
  • assist in the implementation of capacity building in risk communication strategies and activities

The ideal candidate will have global health or pandemic response experience.

This position has flexibility to be up to 4 days a week until 29 July 2022.

This position can be based in Melbourne or Asia Pacific Region.

Remuneration

  • AUD$700 per day subject to experience
