In December 2017, the International Public Health Workshop, an event organized annually by members of the Institut Pasteur International Network, was held in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.  In this edition, the Workshop focused on Health Economics and attracted many participants from 11 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Professor Philip Clarke and Dr An Duy Tran (University of Melbourne) were invited speakers among others from the University of Oxford, the University of Hong Kong and London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. According to Professor Roberto Bruzzone (University of Hong Kong), chair of the organizing committee, the Workshop received extremely positive feedback from the trainees.
