Congratulations to Dr Rosemary McKenzie

Dr Rosemary McKenzie, Deputy Director of the Centre for Health Policy and Director of Teaching and Learning of the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, has recently been promoted to Associate Professor.

Rosemary has worked at CHP for over a decade. She has extensive experience in health service planning, evaluation and research, with a focus on primary care, health promotion and population health. She coordinates the core subject Foundations of Public Health in the Master of Public Health program.

Rosemary has been project leader for national and state evaluations including evaluation of the National Dementia Support Program; Evaluation and Support for the Well for Life Initiative, a health promotion program for frail older people; and most recently, evaluation of the after hours GP helpline and national after hours primary care reforms.

Rosemary is also a member of the Victorian Health Services Review Council and a Board member of Hepatitis Victoria.

Rosemary’s Associate Professorship will take effect from the 1st of January 2017.
