GNN training modules: Vaccine Economics for NITAGs-Beginner training now online

A/Prof Natalie Carvalho, A/Prof Angela Devine and Patrick Abraham, alongside other members of the Economics of Global Health & Infectious Diseases Unit, and with oversight from Prof Kim Dalziel, have led the development of a Vaccine Economics for NITAGs – Beginner training module, now available through the Global NITAG Network (GNN). This initiative was developed in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the GNN to support National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group members in understanding key economic concepts relevant to vaccines.

By strengthening capacity in health economics related to vaccines, the training aims to enhance the use of economic evidence in immunisation policy development. The Beginner module also lays the groundwork for a future online learning journey, with an Advanced module currently in development.
