Biography
Liam is a health economist whose current research focuses on economic evaluations using cost-effectiveness analysis. His principal areas of research expertise are in health services administration and productive efficiency in hospitals, while also assisting in the economic evaluation of interventions using decision-analytic modelling. Liam works a doctor at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne with a clinical interest in orthopaedic surgery and he also played semi-professional hockey and cricket for 10 years. He is currently completing a part-time PhD titled, “The Health Economics of Modern Technologies for Bone Reconstruction” with the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne.
