Prof Stuart Kinner is interviewed by BBC Thailand on COVID-19 in Thai prisons

Head of the Justice Health Unit, Professor Stuart Kinner, did an interview last week with BBC Thailand about the COVID situation in their prisons. Prof Kinner described the situation as very concerning and recommended that Thailand (a) follow the relevant WHO Interim Guidance and (b) given the significant overcrowding in their prisons, urgently explore opportunities for releasing low-risk people from prison, notably including the many thousands of people incarcerated for non-violent, drug-related crimes.
