Melissa Willoughby wins Best Paper Published by a Centre for Health Equity PhD Student Award
Melissa Willoughby, PhD candidate at the Justice Health Unit, recently won the Best Paper Published by a Centre for Health Equity PhD Student award.
Mel won the award for her paper entitled Violence-related deaths among people released from prison: a data linkage study, now published in the Journal of Interpersonal Violence. Click here to access.
Mel’s research interests center around the intersection of health and criminology. Her current research examines violence-related deaths and morbidity among adults and young people exposed to the criminal justice system.
