Louise Southalan Awarded 2018 Churchill Fellowship
Louise Southalan of the Justice Health Unit was recently announced as a recipient of the prestigious Churchill Fellowship.
The Fellowships, awarded by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, address challenges faced by Australia through the recognition of experts across a diverse range of fields. Churchill Fellows are funded to travel internationally to gather insights and knowledge that will benefit Australia.
The aim of Louise’s Fellowship is to identify strategies for national agencies to improve state prison mental health systems and services. She will be travelling to the UK, Ireland, Italy, Canada and the USA to visit a range of organisations and experts in the field. Congratulations to Louise on her success!
