No Longer a Wandering Spirit: The Story of Bessy Flowers

This film follows the journey of two Aboriginal family groups discovering the history of their ancestor Bessy Flowers, who in 1867 was sent away from her Albany home, never to return.

It was co-produced by Research Fellow Dr Sharon Huebner with Noongar families from Western Australia and Koori families from eastern Victoria.

In December 2016, a free screening of the film was held at the State Library of Victoria.
