IDN and the Research Data Alliance on Indigenous Data Issues

On 20 March 2020, as part of the 15th Plenary of the Research Data Alliance, IDN Steering Committee member Kalinda Griffiths was to join members of the Global Indigenous Data Alliance on a panel to discuss developments in Indigenous data governance and sovereignty.

On 20 March 2020, as part of the 15th Plenary of the Research Data Alliance, IDN Steering Committee member Kalinda Griffiths was to join members of the Global Indigenous Data Alliance on a panel including representatives of the Maiam nayri Wingara Collective, Te Mana Raraunga Maori Data Sovereignty Network and the United States Indigenous Data Sovereignty Network, to discuss developments in Indigenous data governance and sovereignty.

Unfortunately, due to government-imposed travel restrictions brought in response to the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, the event was cancelled.
