What does Australia really think about ...

A new SBS series reveals public attitudes towards disability, obesity and old age in Australia today.

Though personal stories, social experiments and a nationwide survey,  Australians get to see what people with disability experience first hand when doing regular daily activities. The team in the Disability and Health Unit did the survey analysis for the episode on disability and provide expert insight into common attitudes and beliefs that many Australians have about disability.

What Does Australia Really Think About… is available on SBS On Demand. Episodes will be repeated at 10.15pm Mondays on SBS VICELAND from 23 August.
