Welcome Yamna Taouk

Yamna Taouk has recently commenced in the Disability and Health Unit (CHE) as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.

She will be examining health service use among employed men at risk of mental health problems and suicide continuing the work of the late Associate Professor Allison Milner, with a focus on the social determinants of mental health and suicide, and the working environment.

Yamna combines considerable experience in quantitative research and observational data, and strong analytical skills to applying innovative statistical and epidemiological methods to address health-related issues across the population.  She has a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) majoring in mathematical statistics, Master of Public Health specialising in epidemiology and biostatistics, and has recently completed a PhD (Epidemiology) at the University of Melbourne.
