ReCap (or Recovery Capitals) aims to support wellbeing after disasters by aligning disaster recovery evidence with a framework of community capitals (social, human, cultural, natural, financial, built & political) to guide development of recovery strategies adapted to community contexts.
The project is an Australia-Aotearoa New Zealand collaboration being contributed to by representatives from University of Melbourne, Massey University (NZ), Australian Red Cross, Deakin University, University of New England, University of NSW, Swinburne University, the Social Recovery Reference Group and a variety of State and Commonwealth and NZ government agencies and emergency management organisations
