Melissa Willoughby’s letter to editor is published in the Medical Journal of Australia

Melissa Willoughby, Justice Health Unit researcher and PhD candidate has had a letter to the editor of the Medical Journal of Australia (MJA) published. The letter, co-authored by Unit Head Prof Stuart Kinner, highlighted the absence of women who have had contact with the criminal justice system from our national discussion on preventing family, domestic and sexual violence.

We acknowledge Mel and Stuart for drawing the needs of this often-overlooked group of women to the attention of the wide readership of this leading Australian medical journal.
