Jack Ganbaatar - Obama Foundation

Congratulations to Jack Ganbaatar (2021)!!

Former MPH student, Jack Ganbaatar (2021) was recently selected as a fellow with the Obama Foundation, and his work was highlighted by the Foundation during Pride Month.

Jack did his MPH research project with CHE on queer youth identities and experiences in Mongolia – a primary qualitative research project which he expertly facilitated during one of the COVID-19 lockdowns, based in Melbourne with participants in Mongolia.  His first paper from this project was published last year, his second paper from this project is just about ready for submission, and he has spoken widely about his research on radio and TV in Mongolia as an expert advocate for the queer community.  We are so proud of Jack for making a profound public health impact as one of our MPH alumni!
