Data Visualisation for Knowledge Translation will look at two areas of design and presentation.
Firstly, it will explore key design principals for creating effective and visually stunning PowerPoint presentations used for seminars, conferences and teaching. We will move away from traditional approaches of creating presentations to using creative techniques which will engage your audience. Please feel free to bring along slides that you would like assistance with or have questions about.
Secondly the session will look at ideas on how to present your research data visually. This will include what makes a good infographic or visualisation and how to produce easy design elements.
Presented by Alana Pirrone.
