This PhD thesis explored how community indicators were understood and used in Victoria between 1995 and 2010. As an intrinsic case study, materials for analysis comprised key informant interviews and documents.

Dianne Cox (BSW , WAIT 1984,  MSW ( Research) La Trobe 2004) is a lecturer in Social Work and Social Policy at La Trobe University Bendigo. Dianne’s research interests are in social policy and community development.
