2022 Milpa’s Six Steps to Stop Germs Poster Competition

The Milpa’s Six Steps to Stop Germs Poster Competition is back again in 2022. The poster competition is one of the many initiatives that the NT Department of Education has committed to in its efforts to promote good health amongst students.

The NT Department of Education has worked with the Central Australia Health Service, Indigenous Eye Health, and other trachoma stakeholders since 2010. IEHU is proud to work alongside the NT Department of Education to promote Milpa’s Six Steps to Stop Germs as best practice daily hygiene actions to help stop infections. We all want children to be strong, feel and look good and enjoy participation in school.

We encourage NT schools to participate in the poster competition. Were asking students in primary schools, early learning centres and Families as First Teachers in the Northern Territory to create an artwork based on ‘Milpa’s Six Steps to Stop Germs

Winning entries can win $1,000 and runners up $500 worth of art supplies for their schools.
