Abstract:
Tobacco is the largest contributing risk factor to the health gap between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. Preventing smoking among Aboriginal adolescents is important for improving health equity. This project explores declines in youth smoking and identifies protective social, cultural and environmental factors that can be targeted in community tobacco control programs.
