Congratulations to Lin Zhang, PhD graduate named as 2020 International Alumnus of the Year

Congratulations to Dr Lin Zhang who has been named as 2020 International Alumnus of the Year for his entrepreneurship in medical research and business in both Victoria and China. This Award is one of the seven Victorian International Education Awards presented by Study Melbourne.

Dr Lin Zhang completed his PhD in 2020 at the Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health and University of Melbourne Centre for Cancer Research, Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC). After his PhD, he founded the Moyi Health Tech, a Melbourne-based health technology company focusing on Education and Artificial Intelligence in medicine. Under his leadership, Moyi Health Tech works closely with Monash University eResearch Center/Artificial Intelligence Group and Shanghai Yuecheng Medical Investment Management to develop the colorectal cancer prediction algorithm.

Dr Lin Zhang has been awarded multiple Entrepreneurship awards in both Victoria and China, including the Champion of 2018 Sunan Cup of Entrepreneurship Competition by the City of Melbourne and Australia China Association of Scientist and Entrepreneurs (ACASE).
