Congratulations to Dr Freya Shearer on promotion to Level B

Since being appointed in MSPGH in 2018, Dr Shearer has excelled in driving her own research agenda and shaping the nature of the work delivered to public health and defence agencies. With the onset of the COVID19 pandemic, Dr Shearer’s expertise in evidence synthesis, modelling, pandemic response and crucially, communication to stakeholders, have seen her take on a critical role in the Australian response.
