Community Indicators Victoria

Project Details

CIV aims to create equitable, engaged, healthy and well planned communities.

Project summary

The mission of Community Indicators Victoria (CIV) is to encourage evidence-based policy and planning with engaged communities through publicly available community wellbeing data. Community indicators included in CIV are summarized or abbreviated statistics of social, economic, environmental, cultural and democratic issues relevant to a geographic area. They highlight issues of importance to communities, engage communities and provide measures of progress and monitoring for local communities to form a solid foundation for policy and planning.

All CIV data and resources are available via an interactive website.
