L to R - Professor Philip Clarke and Professor Peter McDonald

Professor Philip Clarke and Professor Peter McDonald from the Centre for Health Policy are part of a successful ARC Centre of Excellence, which has just received $27.25m in national competitive research funding to continue its research into one of Australia’s most pressing issues – our ageing population.

ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR) will continue and expand its research reach on the economic and social challenges of population ageing over the next seven years. CEPAR is a multi-University collaboration, with Professor John Piggott from the Business School of UNSW as the Centre Director. Researchers from MSPGH will be contributing primarily to the health and demographic aspects of CEPAR's research and engagement activities.
