Living and working in Dili, Timor Leste, and spending time in a rapidly changing new nation has been a highlight of Natalie’s career. She joined the Nossal Institute in 2010.
Natalie has a BA from the University of Melbourne – her thesis focused on the impact of policy change on reproductive health practices in Eastern Indonesia. She’s currently enrolled in a Grad Dip in Croatian Language Studies – for fun and to enhance communication skills with her family!
Natalie previously worked at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, managing and supporting monitoring and evaluation for their international projects. She was a Senior Program Officer for the Australia Timor Leste program of Assistance for Specialist Services, and had a stint with the National Health Service in the UK.
The programs team underpins the Nossal’s research, education and engagement. Getting details right and having stringent systems and processes in place ensures the Nossal has the capacity to achieve health systems that are resilient and inclusive.
