Health Systems Research
Our health systems research spans a wide variety of areas across health and healthcare delivery.
Overview
Our health systems research spans a wide variety of areas across health and healthcare delivery, including:
- The availability and use of linked data in Australian research
- Analysis of design of medical and pharmaceutical funding and delivery models
- Using price index methods to quantify changes in out-of-pocket costs
- Looking at pricing reform for medical devices and prostheses in Australia
A particular focus of research has been looking at the pricing of pharmaceuticals both in Australia and internationally. We have also looked at aspects of research funding and infrastructure including looking at the use of linked data in Australia and the reliability of assessment of NHMRC funding models for grants and fellowships.
