Positive mental health and resilience
We conduct a series of trials and evaluation programs promoting child mental health and resilience in the different risk contexts: Areas prone to natural disasters, areas of social disadvantage and areas with many children from refugee/migrant family backgrounds.
Physical health and wellbeing
We identify family service needs for delivery of disability services to align with NDIS. We analyse birth cohort data to identify risk and protective factors for child oral health and obesity. We identify what interventions make a difference in child obesity prevention.
Impacts of a changing world on children's lives
We are committed to an approach that enables children themselves to identify and respond to priority health and wellbeing issues. We have partnered with ABC program Behind the News to analyse children's responses to online news polls.
Child Insight Series
Made with researchers at the Jack Brockhoff Child and Wellbeing Program at the University of Melbourne, this video gives insight in to the lives of children and factors that affect their lives.
