Book Launch: Peak

On Friday 10th March, Opposition Leader, The Honourable Bill Shorten, officially launched the book Peak: Reinventing Middle Age, by authors Patricia and Don Edgar – researchers, policy analysts and age advocates

The book is published by Text Publishing and was launched at the Wheeler’s Centre in Melbourne and attended by around 80 people.

The meticulously referenced book is divided into two parts with the first part discussing the concept of Reinvention: Living with Longevity, while the second part introduces The Reinventors, including several case studies of people who have reinvented themselves throughout their mid-life due to a variety of circumstances including opportunities and tragedy.
