L to R: University of Melbourne staff Lena Gan, Program Director of the Master of Ageing and Ruth Williams, Academic Convenor of the Hallmark Ageing Research Initiative at the Australian Association of Gerontology Conference in Alice Springs.

The AAG conference was held in Alice Springs in early November and attended by around 400 delegates. Representatives from the University of Melbourne’s Hallmark Ageing Research Initiative and the Master of Ageing held a joint promotional booth.

Many delegates were enthusiastic about the courses, particularly those from the allied health care services who wished to update their qualifications. These people often came from all around Australia and were delighted at being able to complete the Master of Ageing online. The Conference was extremely enjoyable and a great success all round.
